The Sunset Limited

I think they said "No one comes to the theatere anymore, they go to the cinima" ... Here's a play that was made into a movie and by God... I'm glad that it was.

The story is about relegion (At least that's how I interpret it). There's this christian man that picks up another man who just tried to kill himself. They don't show it in the movie. The whole movie is filmed in the christian mans apartment. You'll hear them talk about their believes and their different stories. It probably sounds boring, I mean who would like to listen to two men talking about relegion? It's not boring. The way they are talking is both funny and scary. Both of them are right in their own way. Relegion has never been about right or wrong. It is about what you believe and they mention it many times in the movie. Well.. There you go XD That's the movie. Two men talking to each other, there's nothing more to it than that. No violence, no other characters... It's a change of pace and unlike Black Swan.. This movie did a very good job at keeping the audience interested. It knew how to do that. The filming was good, no shaky camera which did the good job of keeping the mood calm and the actors did most of the work. There was calm music, exept in the end which I kind of got irritated with, at this part I didn't want an music to tell me what I would feel. So that's a minus but it's a small one.

I stumble across this when I was watching some channel, I saw that Tommy Lee Jones was in it and I really like him.. and I got stuck. I sat with my mouth open and tried not to listen or think about anything else. I tried to take in everything the men was saying but... Tommy Lee said some complicated stuff that I didn't understand but.. It was still nice because I agreed to everything he said. Even the christian man had his moments where he was right. I watched the movie TWICE in ONE day. The second time I got the feeling of the men had been through the same thing but had chosed different paths. Maybe that isn't entirly true but... It was a feeling I got.

I liked this movie very much and it had me realed in by the first sentence. I couldn't even turn it off XD I thought to myself "I can rent this movie and then see the beginning so I should turn it off now so I don't see the ending" ... Big surprise that I couldn't turn it off. And I didn't want it to end either :P I was like: "No! That can't be the end! There has to be more!" so... Very good movie! I recomend it ^^

Shrek Forever After

Does anyone believe this is the last chapter?
Anyway! ... I liked it o.O To my big surprise... I thought this was going to be a disappointment like the third movie (I didn't like that) But this... I say they could've skipped the third movie and jumped to this one instead XD It fit perfectly into the story. First Fiona and Shrek founds each other. In the second movie it's fiona that needs to appritiate Shrek. In the third movie... they have kids. But in the fourth movie Shrek is the one that needs to appritiate Fiona and his family! I know it has been done a million things before and bla bla bla! There's a lot of movies we've seen before and they keep coming and coming! Maybe for a reason guys XD Anyway! I think this fits into the Shrek and Fiona chapter.

Since this is a fourth story I don't need to go in much of a detail of the characters or the actor playing (They have good actors in all these movies and I'm glad they've stucked to the original cast through four whole movies!) So lets get to the visuals instead. Some real nice shots are threwn in there! Like the one when Shrek runs through that cornfield or what that is.. When I saw those pictures I was like: "wow! Nice!" So points for that XD I also love the detailing in the eyes the Shrek movies get you... But that's just a side note XD I loved this one because it threw in a much darker tone in it than the other movies. I mean think about it... The first movie didn't have dark colors in it. Just some sunsets and sunrises and that was really nice... The second movie had the fairy god mother that just... Sparkled with colors! The third movie... Had babies. ... But this movie! The landskape reminded me of Lion King when Scar had the power! And that colorful castle in the middle of it made me laugh XD And even there the dark tones is shown more, the duck is scary for younger kids... Or it should have when I was young! Now a days kids don't get scared that easily -.- But still! The duck.. or goose! had scary details which was nice! And then the ending where the castle disappears... It was a nice touch that Rumpelstilltskin was the last one left, I thought first it was going to be Fiona o.O And then the colors disappears and all that's left is a sea of black and fire... So nice to see!

Anyway! The story.. Well.. As I said we've seen it before and bla bla bla... But I still thought it was different. How Shrek was trying to get Fiona remember that she loves him. No one has done that. ... What I've seen XD They always try to figure out a way to end the "curse" or what you say.. But not with a "true loves kiss". Not what I've seen anyway XD So to see and remember everything from the first movie was so wonderful. To see why Shrek fell in love with Fiona and why those are such a perfect couple XD It was nice to see.. The movie got a lot of "aaww" and "Ah!" and "Hahaha!!" from me XD I really got stuck in the movie and still it held true to the Shrek story! I liked it! And now you know why XD

... or maybe I just liked it because I didn't expect much of it o.O *shrug shoulders* Anyway XD That doesn't matter! Have a great day!
